We are extremely pleased with the presentations made at our church by members of Reasons To Believe.  Because we are trained as social scientists, we look for certain essential qualities in any presentation of a point of view: evidence, reasonableness, consistency, and humility.  Evidence means that the point of view is not based merely on speculation or opinion. Reasonableness means that the point of view makes sense in the light of the evidence.  Consistency means that the point of view holds together as an integrative whole.  And humility means that the point of view is presented as a reasonable inference of evidence rather than an unchallengeable and unalterable conclusion.  All the presentations by RTB personnel reflected those qualities.  Our faith was affirmed and our intellectual integrity remained intact.  We are grateful.
