RTBSD's overarching philosophy and what you can expect from us

RTB San Diego exists primarily to support and serve local churches and schools.  We work and brainstorm personally with you to create the right program for your group (student, adult, parent, and/or grandparent).

We start by discussing what your needs are and what resources we have to fulfill those needs.  Typically we see needs that include:

1. A Bible teaching approach;
2. Scientifically and technically credible contributors;
3. Interesting, relevant, modern content including professional quality PowerPoints, DVD, and video graphics, and a resource table;
4. Events can be from one to four presentations, lasting one day to several weeks, with individual presentations lasting from 30 to 90 minutes;
5. Robust Q&A support by multiple RTB-SD members from a variety of professional backgrounds

In many cases we co-prepare and co-present materials with you.  In this way we reinforce your existing leaders and programs.  One technique that works particularly well is when we’re showing the parallel between scripture and scientific observation.  In this style one person presents the relevant scripture and another presents the supporting observations from science, and they repeat the process until the final vision is achieved.  We have found this to be one of our most effective presentation techniques because co-presenters so clearly animate how objective orthodox scientific observations are supportive of scripture.

These are great programs for your people to invite non-member friends and skeptics to.  We are very open to serving groups with such a mix.  Since we frame our approach as “an” interpretation not “the” interpretation these programs are engaging without being threatening.
